Another life claimed by the rhino horn myth.
A female white rhino was reportedly killed on a private game farm in Hoedspruit, Limpopo Province. Both of her horns were missing, and her four-month-old calf had also been shot.
According to iafrica.com, a search has been initiated in hopes of locating the calf.
The latest figure from South Africa’s is grim: More than 170 rhinos have already been murdered since the beginning of the year.
